Hot Compost Bin with Integrated Water, Air & Energy System
A regenerative composting system that accelerates decomposition, captures compost tea, distributes moisture and oxygen evenly, and optionally produces biogas and thermal energy β all within a 500-gallon compost bin.
EcoCoreβ’ converts food waste into nutrient-rich compost and compost tea using three vertical PVC cores with spiral air and water distribution lines.
It also produces heat and biogas (optional), supporting indoor warmth or greenhouse growth through captured airflow and sealed digestion.
1. Three Vertical PVC Inserts
Center Pipe (Green):
Primary food waste input.
Can be capped and sealed for biogas digestion.
Small holes and internal metal mesh keep solids out.
Air Pipe (Yellow):
Connects to a solar-powered air blower.
3 curved spiral lines distribute oxygen every 6 inches.
Water Pipe (Blue):
Connects to rain barrel, dehumidifier, or hand watering.
3 curved spiral lines irrigate compost layers with precision.
All PVC pipes include drilled holes and internal mesh to prevent clogging or debris intrusion.
